Ernest Panos
Dr. Panos graduated from Marquette University’s Dental School top of his class and two years later received his post doctoral certificate of specialty in orthodontics from Loyola University Chicago College of Dental Surgery in 1967. He also had four years of dental experience in the U.S Air Force.
After entering into private practice he was on staff at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital for many years. He is one of the original members of the Hellenic American Dental Society and he was also a past president. He is a member of the Federation of Dentaire International, a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society and the American Association of Orthodontist. He has received several honors including the national award for The American Society of Dentistry for Children. He has earned special training in National Basic Disaster Life Support. He received his regional board certification in the state of Illinois in 1967. He studied the light wire technique under Joseph Jarabak and gave courses with Dr. Don Roth on light wire techniques. He specializes in orthognathic techniques and treatment and emphasizes on esthetic and facial lines to improve profiles for a younger look.
